Alex Mukulu to stage shows in Sweden and Denmark

Renowned playwright Alex Mukulu is set to stage shows in Sweden and Denmark. In Stockholm Mukulu will perform in a gospel music show and as well stage a new theatrical production DRUMS OF JOY a play about Uganda's political ,religious and social life.

"Drums of Joy". The musical describes a comteporary Uganda "on the move". The cast consists of 18 singers, dancers and musicians.

Alex Mukulu who also is also a singer and writer has writen and staged over 30 plays in a career that spans over the same period of time.Notable among these were Thirty Years of Banana (1991), Wounds of Africa (1990), and akattambwa(2005), his music includes songs like obwavu,Namutamba,Banakampala bogela and more.

Grace Nakimera Hospitalised after Acid attack.

Musician grace nakimera was admited at paragon hospital in Kampala where she is recieving treatment following injuries she sustained in an acid attack saturday Night.Ugamuziki has learnt that the artist who had been performing at the Club silk Street Jam was attacked by an unknown assailant after her performance.The motive behind the attack is also not yet clear.Nakimera Popular for her songs like-Anfuukuula,Onyambaga Mukama(Originaly done by Kabuye semboga)and others is set to launch her new album on the 14th of may which also also is the same date the goodlyfe crew of mose radio and weasle will be launching their new album (Ngeenda maaso).

TIGAN AND HILDERMAN HIT OUT AT PROMOTERS

Henry Tigan and Dr.hilderman of the Hit song Amelia have released a provocative duet “Mr. Matama”. The song is meant to hit out at Tigan's former promoter Suudi (Of the suudi Entertainment label) following the “waddawa” album launch flop. It's alleged that Suudi the American based promoter sold Tigan's car to Dj Kaspat of club Silk without his (Tigan) knowledge. And did not stop at that, but also persuaded him to sale his plot of land to pay the debts. You may wonder why he did the song with Hilderman, the answer is, that the Amelia star sold his first album (Double bed-mazongoto) to local promoter one Abtex who did not pay him the full amount. The combination of the anger resulted into the song. Meanwhile Tigan had to spend a night in jail for another debt we have learnt he has agreed to pay in an out of court settlement. The brother is sure not doing great financially. Bebe cool now cool

After the life threatening shooting that saw the gagamel crew boss in hospital for almost a week we can now report that bebe cool is back home recovering from the gun shot wounds he sustained after he was shot three times in the legs.

As Investigations continue as to what caused the shooting that left over 4 people injured all is still unclear. While at Nsambya Hospital Bebe cool was visited by a number of people Including the President Of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, Police Chief Kale Kayihura among others.

Questioning of various parties involved, suspects continues to establish the cause of the shootin. Ugandan Celebrity Artist Bebe cool is admited at nsambya Hospital in Kampala in a not good condition after he was shot at by a security guard friday night.Ugamuziki has Learnt that bebe who was promoting his new single "kasepiki" was shot 3 times in the legs. Despite having been nomineted 5 times the good life duo of radio and weasle settled for a double win at the Africa music awards Europe.They walked away with the best african song of the year (Bread and butter) and best East African act awards.They had also been nominated for The artist of the year award alongside Nigeria's 2face Adiba,Egypt's Amir Diab, and South Africa's HHP,the Best male act and best new comer categories.Juliana Kanyomozi and Bobi wine were the other Ugandan artists nominated each with 2 nominations each
