In one day we get to follow three young people. Olweny is only 12 years, thoughtful, still plagued with the demonic memories from his days as a child soldier. He now plans to go back home to the village, to his family that has not seen him in four years. Will he make it? Mary is young, independent and strong. She returns to the wealthy home in Kampala where she works as a maid, after having visited her family. But her own family affairs force her to take drastic decisions. Armstrong is a hip hop guy with a turbulent past; his plans to put up a dance performance in his "hood" are frustrated when he evidently is forced to face his old skeletons in the closet.
